12/15 (Tue) 12:00, Shiseido fibona and Makuake Incubation Studio will take on a new challenge!

2020.12.8

Shiseido's open innovation program “fibona" started in July 2019. One of its activities is "Speedy trial". By utilizing services such as crowdfunding, we aim to speedily introduce products, which take advantage of technology created through research, to the market as beta versions. We will communicate with more people from the early stages of development, aiming for innovation that is meaningful to many people.

Makuake, Inc. which operates “Makuake,” a service for supporting and purchasing new things and experiences, and the "fibona with incubators program" have been promoted through this activity. (Press release dated 8/29, 2019)

The incubator program involved workshops over a period of about six months. Shiseido researchers who volunteered to participate in the program brushed up their own ideas from the viewpoints of technology and user images.

After the in-house proposal in the incubator program and subsequent consideration of mass production, the new product will finally be released on Makuake on Tuesday, December 15 at 12:00.

This is a product that Shiseido researchers have worked diligently on with the belief that they are developing products that they truly want.

And through communication with those who support our activities, we hope to achieve innovation that is meaningful to many people. We look forward to your support.
